To further standardize the online sales of medical devices and ensure public safety in the use of medical devices, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has recently officially issued the Quality Management Specifications for Online Sales of Medical Devices. This specification will be formally implemented starting from October 1st this year, and puts forward clear and detailed requirements from multiple dimensions including qualification verification, information display, and risk prevention and control. It aims to further consolidate the primary responsibilities of online medical device sales enterprises and e-commerce platforms, and promote the development of the industry towards standardization and high quality.
